Marketing - SCP

USAID SEED’s marketing strategy has recently changed from focusing only on providing support to public sector stakeholders to seeking new possibilities of impacting employment and income through the private sector.

The Marketing Sustainability Catalyst Program (SCP) is an Integrated market approach aiming to serve the  MSME  and entrepreneurial ecosystem with technical assistance and capacity building to enhance their sustainability, revenue and employment generation especially after USAID SEED Project mandate ends.

The SCP is the creation of a Private Sector led market system that is capable of self-sustainability, scalability across different industries and value chains. The main objective of the SCP is to provide cross cutting business and marketing consultation, mentorship, training and coaching using innovative demand driven strategies to help Incubators, BDS, Financial Institutions; GOE and semi-quasi government authorities.

  • supported the export web portal Yalla Nsadar in changing their marketing strategy from subscription fees only to include commission based on deals, which resulted in revenue growth of 275% within 7 months period.
  • Supported SEED incubators, BDS centers and partner entities and MSMES into transforming their marketing approach to a demand driven marketing approach.
